Jason O’Brien is a Toronto based visual Artist working primarily in acrylic and mixed-media on canvas. His paintings explore the emotional journeys of the human condition and the transcendent-spirit that elevates us through hardship. Jason invites the viewer in to an intimate dialogue with his work as they look for parts of themselves in is paintings through the strong emotional undertones that become comfortably familiar to his viewers. His inspiration comes from wanting to tell a story without words, but through his figurative and abstract interpretations taking the viewer on a personal journey through his intimate meditations of what he describes as being Beautifully Human.
